Last chance to see ‘Abstractions from Kazimierz’, and next at Leg of Mutton

Helena Orlowski’s stunning, stirring oil pastels and photographs are still gracing the walls at Leg of Mutton. We’ll be running hither and thither on diverse LoM business over the next few days, but do ring us if you’d like to make an appointment to see it. Next at the Leg will be new drawings by Denise Fordyce. Like Helena, Denise is perhaps better known as a printmaker; we first saw her evocative etchings of the Pembrokeshire coast at the Sidney Nolan Trust, where she practices her craft. For her LoM exhibition, Denise is returning to her love of drawing and presenting new work based on coastal and woodland scenes. Come see ‘Leafy Spaces, Open Skies’, starting on 14 August. Here’s a wee taste of what’s in store:

Denise Fordyce, Twisted Tree
Denise Fordyce, Under the Trees
Denise Fordyce, Bend in the River
Denise Fordyce, Mountain Loch
