Opening weekend for Helena Orlowski’s exhibition was well attended, and it was compelling to hear Helena talk about her experience in Kazimierz that led to the current body of work. In addition to her exuberant, expressive oil pastels, she’s exhibiting a series of moving photographs of the Remuh wall, built from broken gravestones as a gesture of respect and commemoration :
We’re also featuring a selection of unframed work, in a variety of sizes and at very reasonable prices. Helena is best known as a printmaker, and her masterful use of line and contrast is unparalleled:
It’s all here at Leg of Mutton through 10 August. Don’t be shy about ringing for an appointment!
